A flower stand in Chapala (on the way to Ajijic).
"Spring Flower Shop: Flower arrangements, natural & artificial"

A fountain overlooking the mountains in Chapala.
Chapala is known as the home of D.H. Lawrence.

This is a painting on an inside wall in a shop in Ajijic.  This is Adam and Eve.
(Those are purses for sale on the left and right.)

Horses at Laguna de Chapala (next to Ajijic), with mountains faint in the background.
The Guadalajara region has the most U.S. retirees of any city outside the US,
and many of them are located in Ajijic.  This beautiful scenery shows one reason why.
